Valbella Gourmet Foods was established 1978 in Canmore, near world-famous Banff National Park, by Swiss master butcher and sausage maker Walter von Rotz.

Today, Valbella Gourmet Foods operates out of a 20,000 sq ft. plant at the same location, specializing in gourmet foods and specialty smoked meats. Valbella’s commitment to excellence, paired with European tradition and an innovative approach, has led to a well-recognized company with high-quality products.
