Our stand alone, purpose-built restaurant/pub features the fi nest amenities such as 2 patios, 13 televisions, 4 private rooms and the views are spectacular. The Iron Goat name is inspired by Canmore’s rich railway heritage.
One memorable train engine, built in 1905 for the C.P.R. was sold to Canmore Mines Ltd. in 1943 and hauled coal until it was finally retired to Calgary’s Heritage Park in 1963. It was affectionately called “The Iron Goat”. Join friends for a drink and a meal at The Iron Goat in Canmore. Historically inspired, deliciously different!
