Location: Cougar Creek parking lot on Benchlands Trail
Distance: Variable, depending on which trails you follow
Begin on the east side (opposite the parking lot) of Cougar Creek in Canmore, in Alberta, Canada, which is only fifteen minutes from Banff. Once you pass the houses on the right hand side, turn right onto the singletrack that will take you up. There are a few different routes you can take, and major junctions are signed. An alternate starting point for this network of trails is at the Alpine Club of Canada Clubhouse.
