Location: Cougar Creek parking lot on Benchlands Trail
Distance: Variable, depending on which trails you follow
Begin on the west side (same side as the parking lot) of Cougar Creek in Canmore’s Montane Traverse in Alberta, Canada, only a short distance from Banff. Bike along the gravel until you come to a fork in the trail. The beginning of this trail is signed and there are marked junctions along the trail. There are several turnoffs you can take heading back into town, or for a longer ride you can continue to Harvie Heights.
