Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park

elk

Developed for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games Nordic events, the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park remains a world-class facility.  In 2005 the Centre was significantly renovated to re-establish itself as one of the top cross country, biathlon and mountain bike destinations in the world.

In the winter…
More than 65 km (37 miles) of groomed and track-set trail for all ability levels in both classic and skating technique beckon cross-country skiers.

In the summer…
An 18-hole disc golf course, four orienteering courses, more than 100 km of single and double-track mountain bike and hiking trail, 6.5 km of paved rollerski trail, and a mountain bike skills park keep visitors busy.
